The North West Bird Club was established in 1972 in our home Town of Wynyard in Tasmania Australia.
Club meetings are held on the second Friday of each month.
During the season, our club members participate in a variety of activities including bus trips and bird shows. Our annual dinner is one of the highlights and we also enjoy a variety of guest speakers during the Year. Visitors and newcomers to our hobby are welcome to attend our meetings and perhaps share some unique experiences.

July Meeting
No meeting in july AVIARY VISIT INSTEAD SUNDAY JULY THE 19TH MEETING AT THE CLUB ROOMS AT 1;30PM FOR A 1;45PM START will be visiting aviaries around the somerset and wynyard area We thought we might go out to tea at the middle pub Wynyard for tea after our aviary visits at approx 5pm so if you wish to join us for this meal please let Leon know asap so we can book (Wednesday 17th at the latest) If at all unsure about aviary visits due to rain or bad wheather Leon will make a decision at 12pm and can be contacted on 64311114 or 0407342283 we will still go out for the meal if aviary visits are cancelled.
